The choice of wood for your custom Skervesen guitar is an important decision that affects the sound and final look of your future instrument. So, when creating your dream guitar remember that we’re here to help you.
At Skervesen Guitars we source all wood from certified companies from various parts of the world. Below you can find an incomplete list of the woods that we offer. We called it incomplete because occasionally, we find some beautiful top sets with a unique wood figure that may meet your expectations about a very special guitar (some examples you can see on our Instagram), so don’t hesitate to ask about the availability of limited top wood.
Prices vary depending on the wood type, so the extra paid options are listed below. It’s worth mentioning that due to the low availability of high-quality pieces and changing European Union legislation we no longer offer woods like Cocobolo.
If you need advice or would like to ask something, we can present you with some wood configurations, which we consider to be the most trusted and worth choosing. We will be pleased to provide you with more detailed information about our wood options and give you the most suitable offer for your needs. Contact us: guitars@skervesen.eu
