Skervesen Guitars – Build Process & Payment Policy

Every Skervesen Guitars instrument is built to order and follows a clearly defined production process.

After receiving the deposit(which may serve as the first installment), we begin the construction process of the instrument.

Build progress updates are typically provided every 1.5–2 months in the form of simple photo documentation.

The preparation stage for varnishing may take longer (approximately 2–2.5 months), as the instruments are sent to the paint room in batches to maintain the highest quality of finish.

Please report for the update yourselves.

Final Payment & Completion

After the painting process is completed, the instrument is passed to the assembly stage.

Final payment is required before the final assembly begins.
Final assembly and all remaining work will commence only after the full balance has been received and cleared.

The estimated time from final payment to shipment is approximately 1–1.5 months.
Once the instrument has shipped, a tracking number will be provided.

Cooperation and communication

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise during the lengthy production process.
If you anticipate any difficulty with the final payment, please contact us as early as possible so we can discuss potential solutions.

Delaying communication or postponing payment at the final stage of production directly affects our workflow and the timely completion of other clients’ instruments.

Lead time

The current lead time is about 12-14 months for bolt-on construction and 16-24 months for NTB construction

The lead time doesn’t include the duration of the shipment.

Withdrawal of the order / Cancellation / return of the advance payment / Warranty

Withdrawal of the order is possible up to 14 days from the advance payment

Cancellation of the contract may take place up to 3 months from the date of order, and we reserve the right to return half of the advance payment. Cancellation after this date will result in no refund of advance payment.

In case of installments, we do not return the advance payment.

We kindly ask for thoughtful orders.

Products purchased from stock may be returned up to 14 days from the date of purchase. Due to the distance and time, email information is sufficient.

Money will be returned within two weeks from the date of arrival of the instrument to the company and determining whether the instrument is in the condition in which it was sent from us. All such instruments have inspection photographs.

All complaints should first be reported to us, and then we will determine how to collect the instrument for repair.

The warranty is 24 months.
